Short Biography

Md. Mahmudul Hasan Akib is a Lecturer and Assistant Coordinator in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Sonargaon University. He has teaching, research, and shipbuilding-industry experience, including service as a Postgraduate Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant at BUET and as an Assistant Naval Architect (Production) at Bay-Tech Shipbuilders. His research focuses on ship design and optimization, maritime sustainability, shipboard waste management, marine safety, and energy-efficient shipping.
