Providing well-qualified undergraduate students for professional Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering careers in industry, academia, government, and non-government regulatory bodies. Enlarging and maintaining internationally recognised research programs in all areas of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Enhancing professional development by visits, workshops, seminars, conferences, training and updating knowledge. Building up a strong academic network with other national and international universities and research organisations, and promoting collaboration with local industries for their development.
